The Ningde Xiapu 220kV Nuclear Power Transmission Project is a key transmission line for China National Nuclear Corporation’s Xiapu Nuclear Power Plant. It spans a total length of 48.983 kilometers and includes 133 newly built towers, with a 4.39-kilometer sea-crossing section. On September 21, 2022, the B-circuit line of the 220kV transmission project in Xiapu, Ningde, Fujian Province was fully completed, with the A-circuit scheduled for completion in November 2022. Once operational, this project will further solve the power supply issues in eastern Fujian, accelerate nuclear power construction along the coast of Fujian, and contribute to the improvement of the new energy supply and consumption system.

The Xiapu Nuclear Power Plant has two AP1000 nuclear units, each with an installed capacity of 65,000 kW, totaling 130,000 kW. Unit 1 began commercial operation on September 27, 2018, and Unit 2 was connected to the grid on December 31, 2019.
